Take the lead on property and casualty claims handling and tracking which may include interaction with TPA, regional claims specialist, in-house and outside counsel, broker and other internal stakeholders.
Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and product developments that affect target markets, establishing and maintaining industry contacts that lead to prospective sales; evaluate product mix in terms of meeting customers' needs.
Maintain profitable operations by controlling inventory, losses, accidents and safety, etc; seek synergies and best practices to develop and implement new methods to improve productivity or improve customer service.
Interfaces across diverse, cross-functional teams to establish and boost alignment and synergy, gaining buy-in from stakeholders and leading the implementation of initiatives within the routing and transportation function at the division.
This role will utilize systems and cross-functional communication to drive continuous improvement to improve and maintain KPIs while optimizing logistics performance based on changing network, revenue, costs, and transportation activities.
Develop analytical models, forecasts and other quantitative inputs into effective, meaningful and relevant presentations, facilitating and presenting findings and recommendations across the organization, up to and including the executive leadership team.
