Transactional Attorney

The Transactional Attorney must hold a Juris Doctorate and have strong academic credentials from a top law school. In addition, the ideal candidate must possess at least 4 years of major law firm and/or applicable in house experience; strong general corporate and commercial practice; intellectual property, excellent drafting and negotiating skills; ability to work quickly on and prioritize a wide variety of projects; strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work well with personnel at all levels of the company. California bar membership required.

In addition, the ideal candidate will have experience with/knowledge of the following:
- Contracts and transaction overflow for the General Counsel (negotiating, papering and closing deals)
- Review of marketing and advertising materials
- Experience in entertainment and licensing contracts
- Help maintain IP portfolio, including interfacing with patent and trademark outside counsel
- Be able to stay nimble and interact with the constantly shifting needs of a very busy company being the right hand for the General Counsel.
