We are currently recruiting for a position within our Legal Department.
The primary responsibilities of these positions are to provide representation and advice on behalf of the company involving the interpretation of statutes, regulations, contracts, and precedents; the presentation of cases before judicial, arbitral and administrative bodies adjudicating claims related to employment and labor law.
The tasks involved are in a variety of areas of highly complex employment and labor law. These areas include: complex and class action employment litigation before the EEOC and district courts; rendering advice on significant policy issues arising under various employment statutes; advising clients on policy matters before the Merit Systems Protection Board; advocacy in national-level rights arbitrations arising under collective bargaining agreements and in interest arbitrations; and collective bargaining under the National Labor Relations Act. Some travel may be necessary at matters may be litigated throughout the country.
Qualifications/Requirements
A J.D. of LL.M awarded by ABA accredited law school is required. Applicants must be an active member in good standing of a state bar.
A minimum of two years of experience primarily practicing complex law before administrative agencies and federal courts. The work performed should include a connection with class actions, collective actions, and other large-scale litigation or highly complex matters. Alternatively, completion of a federal judicial clerkship of at least one year will satisfy the experience requirement.
