Attorney - Commodities Products

Major international bank is in need of an experienced attorney to be part of their legal department, handling all of their transactions involving their commodities markets. The individual in this position functions as the legal counsel to the commodities trading and capital markets group. Responsibilities include working on the transactions, drafting and negotiating documentation as well as serving as the legal counsel on all of the regulartory and market related issues. Qualified candidate must have a law degree and be a member of the ny bar.  experience in negotiating  and drafting commodities agreements, with excellent knowledge of the commodities markets and infrastructure a must.knowledge of commodities  products, including energy, power, metals, and agriculture needed experience working in a law firm a plus.  excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
