Our client is a growing NY & NJ complex litigation law firm with a local and national practice focus representing large international clients in major economic centers. Job description :
You will be an experienced and dynamic Products Liability Litigation Partner with ideally between 10 - 20 years hands-on experience and working in the area of broad products liability and toxic torts.You will work with lawyers who have been on the cutting edge of product liability defense for over twenty years. They have defended products from food to firearms in forty-nine of the fifty states and internationally, successfully trying or negotiating thousands of product liability cases.You will be working with a variety of clients both locally and internationally covering the following areas: Products Liability Environment & Toxic Torts Appelate Arguments & Class Actions ConstructionYou will be a successful litigator with significant trial experience, particularly jury trial experience in state & federal court.You will responsible for: taking and defending depositions, court appearances (1st chair), drafting and filing pleadings, motions, memoranda of law and briefs, drafting and negotiating settlement agreements, conducting witness interviews and witness preparation sessions, assisting in trial preparation, and conducting discovery.This is a perfect opportunity to work in a growing firm and busy practice whilst further developing your book of business. Who we are looking for :
You will be an experienced Products Liability Defense Litigator with ideally between 10 -20 years hands-on litigation experience.You will have at least $500K in portable business.You will have significant experience in taking/defending depositions and managing jury trials as 1st chair in a variety of products liability cases dealing with the manufacturers as opposed to the insurers.You will be JD qualified and admitted to the NY Bar.
