As an experienced Bankruptcy Partner, Counsel or Associate with ideally 8+ years experience you will have expertise working with financial institutions executing restructurings and enforcing rights and remedies in secured, unsecured financing transactions.You will also have some experience in representing secured and unsecured creditors assets in Chapter 11 reorganizations and liquidations of holders of distressed debt. The firms practice includes the representation of both creditors and debtors in sophisticated bankruptcy matters and out of court restructurings across all industry groups, including several significant creditors in ecently filed mega-cases, and large retail debtors.The firm also represents financial institutions, official committees, bond holders, private equity firms and hedge funds. Who we are looking for :
You will be an experienced Bankruptcy Partner, Counsel or Associate with ideally 8+ years experience in representing both debtors and creditors.You will have experience in litigating complex commercial disputes (including trials), enforcement of rights of creditors in bankruptcy cases and transactional restructuring of real estate and asset-based lending transactions. Some experience representing servicers of debt instruments is preferred.You will ideally have a portable book of at least $1Million and be seeking a firm that is committed to help you grow your practice.You will be JD qualified and admitted to practice in NJ.
