Senior Counsel - Prime Brokerage

Financial Services firm is in need of an experienced brokerage attorney to work suport their Prime Brokerage and Equity Trading Desks. The position involves providing legal advice to the above groups as well as drafting, reviewing and negotiating all agreements for Prime Brokerage and Trading clients.  The position also involves assuring that all documentation is in place and is adherence to all rules and regulations.  The individual in this position will also work with the marketing froup, as well as other departments in the firmall all legal issues relating to Prime Brokerage and Trading matters.  Qualified candidates must have a law degree with at least 5 years in a financial services firm or a legal firm working with broker dealer clients.  Must have expertise with negotiating contracts with Broker Dealer and or Prime Broker clients and all of the rules and regulation that are relevant to that line of business.  Admission on a bar in at least one state is required. The position has excellent career growth and offers a bonus and great benefits.
