Munchkin is currently seeking an Director of Corporate Compliance. The Director of Corporate Compliance will be primarily responsible for providing advice  and counseling and overseeing regulatory compliance and related matters in the areas of distribution, competition, workplace and product safety, customs, and employment matters.

Munchkin is looking for someone who has experience doing the following;

Providing advice and counseling on legal and regulatory issues pertaining to the development and manufacturing of consumer and professional products.

Directing programs, policies, and practices to ensure that all business units are in compliance with financial policy and reporting regulations.

Assuring compliance with laws, regulations, and contract terms; handling internal and external audits and investigations, including regulatory agency audits and regulatory-related investigations.

Responding to regulatory agency enforcement actions, and conducting investigations in response to audit findings and complaints.

Serving as the primary contact with regulatory agencies, and resolving regulatory related issues concerning products and business transactions.

Monitoring legislation and policies and procedures, and compliance therewith.

Counseling and advising with respect to laws and regulations pertaining to research, development, approval, safety and manufacturing of consumer products.

Providing guidance to Management on all ethics, business conduct and compliance matters.

Education and/or Experience: Four-year college or university required.  JD preferred, but not required.  Candidates will have a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant regulatory compliance experience within a manufacturing/consumer product related environment.  Experience in prosecution or in a legal compliance role is a plus.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and very strong problem-solving skills.  Mush have previous track record of success in professional and personal activities and a proven ability to work as a member of a team.
