The Role
We are seeking a talented senior level communications specialist who has the desire to build and shape a global communications team that will ensure prime coverage with leading business, trade, and industry media. He/she will own the public voice for the company and must possess strong relationships that span across consumer, business, and service provider communities. This exciting role offers significant room for future growth and reports to the Vice President of Corporate marketing. He/she will also have direct interaction with our Chairman/CEO, President, and other top executives who places a very high value on marketing and communications.

The main responsibilities for this global position are:

• Develop and execute PR strategy across all audiences including, consumer, business, and service providers.


• Create, produce and manage the corporate PR Agenda and calendar. Drive a consolidated approach to the press who are critical to advancing our agenda.


• Partner with the corporate marketing, branding, and product teams to drive positioning and messaging into the market.


• Increase impact of the Company’s stories in mainstream IT, business and national press.


• Act as a trusted advisor to product groups, business development, sales and executive teams during product launch and sustaining activities.


• Develop and manage executive bench to ensure quality presentations and presence at key industry and company events and forums.


• Drive AR strategy for our service provider business.


• Build customer evidence repository. Ensure that our story is substantiated through great customer and partner endorsements.


• Own employee communications strategy and drive the execution of the top to bottom communications to the entire organization.


• Manage global PR team and respective agencies.

Required Skills and Talents:

• Four-year college degree from a highly selective school in communications, marketing, or journalism


• Minimum 15+ years of experience covering both B2C and B2B PR


• Proven experience in working with analysts and technology influential’s


• Speaker platform and events experience


• Mixture of agency and in-house PR experience


• Excellent written and spoken communication skills


• High levels of understanding and respect for other company functions and ability to work well with them as a team (particularly marketing, sales and engineering)


• Strong interpersonal effectiveness, positive attitude, strong work ethic, high level of flexibility, able to work well with others


• Ability to thrive in a challenging, demanding and rapidly changing environment


• Global experience required


• Technology experience required - Software Industry preferred
