The position provides full-time substantive child welfare legal work for the Barriers to Permanency Project/Pennsylvania and other grants of the Center on Children and the Law. Designs, organizes, coordinates and presents at state child welfare law trainings. Facilitates permanency delays projects by running advisory board meetings, developing written protocols and materials, and providing on-site training in project counties. Provides technical assistance to county departments of social services and attorneys on key issues in law.
