S/he will communicate with and direct outside contacts, including outside counsel, with respect to litigation and/or risk management matters; negotiate, monitor and report on adverse claims prior to and during litigation relating to the company's personnel, property, goods or services. S/he will review company activities and policies for legal compliance and adherence to domestic and foreign governmental policies and regulations, provide legal advice to company departments, subsidiaries and affiliates, and maintain knowledge of current legal issues.
