The Director is responsible for achieving Company objectives in state legislatures and state executive branch agencies, and for developing alliances with third party interest groups that lobby state officials. Specifically, State Government Affairs is charged with ensuring Company products are covered by Medicaid, ADAP and other state payers, and that state programs that pay for prescription drugs maintain access and funding. The Director is also responsible for developing and communicating the Company's position on broader issues affecting the company at the state level.
