Familiarity with the principles of advertising, consumer and online privacy law is critical, and any knowledge of telecom regulatory practices would be helpful, but--let's face it--this might be asking a lot. Strong negotiating skills, an open mind, an unfussy approach and the ability work extremely hard are, however, an absolute must. The ability to work independently while performing as a team player is critical, as are the skills and experience needed to build relationships and communicate complex issues.
