Manage assigned staff within a section (for example, litigation, securities, real estate, and general corporate law) of the legal division. Make recommendations regarding hiring and retention of staff. Assign, motivate, evaluate, train and counsel staff. Provide legal advice and support to internal clients on a broad range of legal matters related to Freddie Mac as a business entity. Manage outside counsel. Provide legal advice and counsel to the General Counsel and other senior management, and participate in various responsibilities associated with division management.
