Specifically, this will include participating in (and overseeing the participation of outside counsel in) state regulatory proceedings relevant to company's interests; and the development of strategic goals and objectives to prevent implementation of restrictive state regulations, or to shape such regulations in a way that best allows company to meet the needs of its customers. This position must ensure that the company viewpoint is promoted and effectively delivered to decision makers, and must coordinate with the state legislative operations on matters of common interest.
