Offers a Better, Different Way to Find $100K+ Jobs in Today’s Economic Climate
NEW YORK, NY (January 9, 2009) - TheLadders.com, the leading online platform for the $100k+ job market, today announced the launch of two new television commercials that engagingly communicate the challenges $100k+ job seekers face and why TheLadders.com is the right solution to help them find their next job. Created by Fallon Minneapolis, the two new spots will air on network and cable television.
“There’s an unprecedented number of $100k+ job seekers in the job hunt and these new commercials clearly demonstrate the reasons why TheLadders.com is the best way to find $100k+ jobs,” said Marc Cenedella, Founder and CEO of TheLadders.com. “There are tens of thousands of $100k+ jobs on the site right now waiting to be filled and thousands of new jobs are being added every week.”
“Little Creatures”
To communicate the idea that TheLadders.com specializes in the high-end job-market, “Little Creatures” offers a modern take on the classic Japanese monster movie genre. As dramatic music swells, hordes of undersized creatures, not yet ready for the big jobs, unsuccessfully attempt to wreak havoc on the city. Much to their dismay, their giant counterpart soon arrives and easily completes the job for them.
“Chairs”
This epic commercial uses a vast landscape and a thundering herd of “office chairs” to demonstrate the idea that, unlike most job search sites, TheLadders.com is only interested in the “big” $100k+ jobs. As heroic music swells, a gritty team of hunters race across the savannah in hot pursuit of one large, executive chair in the midst of hundreds of smaller office chairs. The hunters finally capture the big chair as the announcer makes the point that, “We only want the big jobs.”
“The job market is crowded with millions of job seekers, the Internet is crowded with countless job search websites, and $100k+ job seekers are desperately searching for the right resource that will help them find a senior level job,” said Robert Turtledove, Chief Marketing Officer of TheLadders.com. “This new advertising campaign clearly differentiates TheLadders.com from other job search websites as the leading website that caters exclusively to the needs of $100k+ job seekers.”
“Together, the two spots are the perfect complement to TheLadders.com business model,” explained Al Kelly, Executive Creative Director for Fallon Minneapolis. “Built exclusively for the $100K+ market, TheLadders.com only works with qualified $100K+ talent and only posts pre-qualified $100K+ jobs.”
