The Enterprise IT Architect's primary role is to assist in the IT division's transformation into a service-oriented organization, with the business as the primary customer base. This is performed carrying out the activities listed below.

UALIFICATIONS

    Ability to advise and recommend enterprise architecture strategies, processes and methodologies.
    Ability to participate in the evaluation and development of enterprise long-term strategic/operating plans to ensure that EA objectives and IT approaches are consistent with long-term business objectives.

*         Ability to materially participate in the development of architecture blueprints for related systems.

    ERP deployment and development experience
    Experience with ERP in a wholesale/retail environment is a plus.
    Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX a plus
    Experience in integrating multiple disparate systems which are custom-developed.
    Experience using Progress OpenEdge platform a plus
    Development experience and knowledge a plus.

*         Systems Infrastructure knowledges a plus.

*         Advanced knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC).

*         Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion.

*         Demonstrated effective leadership and analytical skills.

*         Work as part of a team and provide 24x7 support when required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

*         Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience required.


WORK SCHEDULE

    Fulltime position (40 hours a week), Overtime, Weekends, Holidays, as required.

    Ability to write and comprehend correspondence.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers.

REASONING ABILITY

    Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram formats.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Post hire certifications may be required to gain knowledge needed to stay current in field.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus. Specific audible abilities required by this position include ring tones, technical sounds made by equipment and/or devices provided by the organization.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is seated in a cubicle environment and is exposed to fluorescent lighting, background noise, and desktop equipment, including monitors.
