Main Purpose

As the new President you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and the long term vision and strategy of Upson Regional Medical Center. 

In this role you will report to and work with the hospital Board of Trustees, as well as the senior leadership team, medical staff leadership, HealthTechS3 leadership and all hospital employees to develop a vision and operational plan for Upson Regional Medical Center.

Competencies / Skills

In this role you will require a Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Healthcare Administration or related area, coupled with a Master’s Degree in Business or Healthcare Administration, in addition to the following:

  • A minimum of ten years of hospital leadership/management experience including CEO or very strong COO  leadership experience in a larger organization. 
  • Rural hospital experience is strongly preferred. 
  • A strong and successful track record leading a similar sized hospital; having successfully accomplished the duties, responsibilities and first year goals and objectives listed above. 
  • A track record of community leadership is required.
